 | After retreating from Namco, the main members of WOLF TEAM renamed themselves 'tri-Ace' and became a developer of Enix. They promptly began working on a game that would definitely take the SNES to its limits or at least very close to them. This game is (surprise surprise!) Star Ocean, a far more innovative and larger game than any RPG at the time could ever hope to be. Unreleased in America. |
 | Quite a worthy sequel. Taking most of the innovative features from the original game and took them to the next level of depth. A true follow up of the original game taking place 20 years later with all new player characters with a much larger universe to explore. |
 | Blue Sphere, the third game in the Star Ocean series, has gone portable. It itself is another true follow up to the previous game in the series, and all the characters from The Second Story return in another out of this world quest. Slated for summer release this year in Japan. U.S release is quite likely but not yet announced. |
Tales of Destiny | Second sequel to Tales of Phantasia. Developed my Namco. (section coming soon) |
Tales of Eternia | Third sequel to Tales of Phantasia, still under development by Namco. (section coming soon) |
 | Here it is, WOLF TEAM's very first game. It was quite innovative with its fighting-game like battle system and was warmly welcomed. It was also the first SNES cart to go 48megabits. Several years later, the design team that created Tales of Destiny went ahead and made the great game more than twice as good on the PlayStation. Both games are covered and are unreleased in the US. |
 | Featuring an original storyline and setting based heavily but loosely on Norse mythology, combined with an all new, entertaining Active Combo battle system, secrets galore, great innovative gameplay features which are deep enough to give a CRPG a run for its money, a large cast of playable characters, great scenario design, it's no wonder it was rated so highly! Without a doubt in the universe, it's the best tri-Ace game yet. Due out late summer in the US. |
